從哪時候開始學舞蹈的？

「我從幼稚園就開始學跳舞了。」

When did you start learning dance?

"I have learned to dance since kindergarten."

為什麼對舞蹈有興趣？

「一開始家裡讓我去學跳舞的原因是想要身體健康，然後就是跳著跳著就開始覺得跳舞很好玩，也蠻有成就感的，很喜歡在台上的那個瞬間，所以就這樣子堅持到了現在。」

Why are you interested in dance?

"At first, my parents asked me to learn to dance because they wanted me to be healthy, and then I started to feel that dancing was fun, and it was quite accomplished. I liked the moment on the stage, so I stuck it like to now."

在學舞的過程中，遇到了什麼困難？

「其實我覺得蠻多的欸，就是學跳舞這條路還蠻辛苦的，那在不同的時間點都遇到蠻多不一樣的挫折，其實還蠻順利一路就考上舞蹈班，就是我國中讀普通國中，但很順利就考上文華的舞蹈班，但在舞蹈班那個時間點其實就是你遇到了來自於全台灣各地很厲害的，大家都是很厲害的佼佼者，然後我們練舞的時間非常長，大概基本上每天都要練六到八個小時，然後從禮拜一到禮拜五，所以那時間點會蠻有挫折感的，因為你的同儕都是非常非常厲害的，那很多事情可能是你要練很多遍，但他們不需要，然後加上時間非常非常久，當下對跳舞的熱忱會被有點澆熄。」

What difficulties did you encounter while learning to dance?

"Actually, I think there are quite a lot of them, it is quite hard to learn how to dance. At different time points, there is quite a lot of frustration. Reading ordinary juniors, I was admitted to the dance class of Wenhua, but at that time in the dance class, you encountered very powerful people from all over Taiwan. The dance time is very long. It is basically six to eight hours a day, and Monday to Friday, so the time point will be quite frustrating because your peers are very, very powerful, then many things may be that you have to practice many times. Still, they don't need it, and it is a long time, the enthusiasm for dancing at the moment will be extinguished a bit."

是什麼契機讓老師想要當舞蹈老師的？

「應該是說我很清楚在高中的那個階段，我很享受在舞台演出的那個瞬間，但是我發現我好像無法成為專業舞者，因為比我厲害的人實在是太多太多，那當下也曾經想過要放棄跳舞這件事情，但是我自己很認真的思考後，去看表演的時候，我一直在想說如果當我沒有辦法在台上的時候，然後甚至沒有辦法在幕後的時候，我自己有沒有辦法接受，那我發現我沒辦法接受，所以那段時間點我就很清楚我應該就是只能走幕後，那又很慶幸的我對幕後的事情是蠻有興趣的，所以就這樣進了，就說那我先從舞蹈老師開始做看看。」

What made you want to be a dance teacher?

"It should mean that I was very clear at that stage of high school, I enjoyed the moment when I performed on the stage, but I found that I could not be a professional dancer, because there were too many people intense than me. I once thought about giving up dancing, but after I thought very seriously. When I go to a performance, I keep asking myself if I can’t stand on the stage, or even cannot stay behind the scenes, can I accept it? Then I found that I couldn't accept it, so I knew I should only go behind the scenes during that time. Fortunately, I am quite interested in things behind the scenes, so that I start with the dance teacher."

從小的夢想就是當舞蹈老師嗎？

「當然不是啊，從小的夢想是當舞者啊，那只是你很快在那個時間點發現可能自己不是那麼適合，所以就用別的方向去完成同一個夢想。」

Has your dream since childhood been to be a dance teacher?

"Of course not, the dream from a young age is to be a dancer, you can only find that you may not be so suitable at that time, so you can use other directions to complete the same dream."

曾經後悔過做這個職業嗎？

「我覺得做這個職業後悔的時間絕對有啦，例如說你教學上很挫折的時候，尤其是現在的小孩越來越難教，沒有像以前那麼好教，那在這個過程當中，你也會後悔啊，如果我當初選了另外一個行業，會不會其實我現在不需要面對我現在遇到的這些問題，但是大部分的時候，百分之80的時候，都是開心的，尤其是看到你教的小孩成長，然後獲得很不錯的成就的時候，你會為他們而感到開心，所以大部分的時候我是沒有後悔的。」

Have you ever regretted doing this career?

"I think there is absolutely time to regret this profession. For example, when you are very frustrated in teaching, especially now that children are becoming more and more difficult to teach, not as easy to teach as before. In this process, you will regret it too. If I had chosen another industry at the beginning, would I not need to face these problems I have encountered now, 80 % of the time are happy, especially when you see the children you teach, and then get very good achievements, you will be happy for them, so most of the time I have no regrets. "

你會給對舞蹈有熱情並想成為專業舞蹈家的學員們甚麼意見或建議？

「我會給的建議是如果這條路是你真的很喜歡的，你就是真的要堅持下去，因為它絕對不是一條很輕鬆的路，它絕對百分之80的時間點都是辛苦的，而且是獨自一個人，尤其是練舞的時候，你自己要跟自己做功課，所以它是非常辛苦跟孤單的，但如果你真的真的很熱愛這件事的時候，你的熱愛是可以支持你走下去的。」

What advice or advice would you give to students who are passionate about dance and want to become professional dancers?

"The suggestion I will give is that if you like this road, you have to stick to it because it is not a very easy path. 80 % of the time are alone, especially when practicing dance, you have to do your homework yourself, so it is very hard and lonely, but if you love this path, your love can support you to go down."
